Introducing our first Wild Card program: Chess Lessons!
In this beginner-friendly series, participants will learn the basics of chess, including strategy, special moves, and gameplay. This program is designed for children and teens aged 7-15. The library will provide boards for all participants, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Program Schedule:
- January 8th – Boards & Pieces
- January 15th – Special Moves and Opening
- January 22nd – Middle and End Game
- January 29th – Exercises and Practice
Registration is required.
An RSVP is attached to the first event in this series. If you haven’t registered by the first lesson, you will need to contact Aly at the library to see if you are still able to attend. One RSVP per child. Participants must have a valid library card with up-to-date contact information to join.
